Energy Performance Certificates tells you how energy efficient a home is on a scale of A-G. The most efficient homes - which should have the lowest fuel bills are in band A. Better rated homes should have less impact through lower carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

A Commercial EPC provides an energy rating for a building which is based on the performance potential of that building. Services such as lighting, heating and ventilation are taken into account as well as the way in which these services are con-trolled.

A Display Energy Certificate will convey all the information necessary for the public to take a view on the building's energy performance, and most importantly it will include advice for improvement. Display Energy Certificates will be accompanied by an Advisory Report.
